Performance Analyzer

Simulate the acceleration and power/torque of your motorcycle, and see right away what a different sprocket, tire or engine tune does to its performance.

What does it do?

The Performance Analyzer calculates, from the technical data of a motorcycle, how it accelerates in every gear and where the engine delivers its power and torque. All calculations run directly in your browser, so every change is visible immediately.

How does it work?

  1. Pick a motorcycle. Every model in the catalog has its own page, filled with its factory data.
  2. Choose a chart. The acceleration chart shows the tractive force per gear against speed; the power/torque chart shows the engine curve against rpm.
  3. Change the settings. Adjust rider weight, sprockets, gear ratios, tire size, aerodynamics or launch rpm in the sidebar. The chart is redrawn on every change.
  4. Compare. Modified runs are drawn next to the original, so you can see exactly what your change gains or costs.

Units can be switched between SI (km/h, kW, Nm) and US (mph, hp, lb-ft) at any time.

Why an account?

An account is free. With it you can:

  • Build your own garage: copy motorcycles from the catalog, or add one that isn't in it, and compare them with each other or with the catalog.
  • Change the specifications: engine, gearing, clutch, tires and weight, and keep your changes.
  • Add torque curves: from maximum power and torque or from a table of values, with several runs per motorcycle, and compare up to 5 in one chart.
  • Check against measured values: enter measured times and top speed, and match the air resistance to the top speed.
  • Share: send a read-only chart with a link.
  • Join the riders: a public profile with your motorcycles, descriptions and photos, and see those of other riders.
  • Set your preferences: your weight, units and theme.
